Letter - Pray to bring down Obama's socialism

To the editor:

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness;” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile” I Corinthians 3:19-20. (NKJV)

How did our Constitution become such a great document appreciated by Americans? Was it because it was not the work of man alone? Man’s wisdom alone would have produced what France got. The good and noble intentions of man alone resulted in many heads rolling from the guillotines. Why didn’t that happen in America?

The Holy Bible is the reason, because it was the primary textbook used in colonial America’s education, before public schools. Reading and studying it resulted in most of our founding fathers having become Christian.

The idea of the Constitution originated from the covenant that God had with Israel. Our founding fathers used what they learned from the Bible to write into our Constitution the “separation of powers.” It provided a check and balance system so no one branch of government would be able to get power over another branch.

Now, however, our radical Socialist President Barack Hussein Obama is attempting to destroy our God-inspired Constitution. He wants more power for himself to completely control our lives. He must be checked by our Supreme Court from gaining so much power.

Pray that the fear of the Lord will lead our Supreme Court justices to seek God’s wisdom and guidance to bring down Obama’s socialism and to restore our nation’s 235-year-old democracy.

Don’t we Americans want to keep what our forefathers left us? Have we taken our liberty and freedom for granted and we don’t think we’ll ever lose it? Well, we’re on the threshold of losing it now.
