As part of the 61st annual National Day of Prayer, people gathered at Alexandria City Hall last Thursday to offer prayers and praise to God.
Jefferson High School band members provided music before residents representing a cross-section of the community led prayers, including Keith Anderson, who prayed for local businesses. Others who offered prayers included Al Edenloff (media), Dean Anderson (education), Dave Schonberg (families), Teryl Magaard (military), Doug Carlson (churches) and Mayor Dan Ness (government).
