Volunteer Opportunities

United Way needs volunteers for the Mobile Food Drop on May 31 at 9:30 a.m. at New Life Christian Church. Call (320) 834-7800.

Elder Network needs Respite Care volunteers. Allow a caregiver to take a break from their duties by spending one to four hours per week providing companionship and conversation. Call (320) 763-9084.

Grand Arbor needs volunteers for three-hour shifts at its Bountiful Bistro to serve prepared food to customers. Call Judy Thielke at (320) 763-1162.

Kids Against Hunger needs volunteers to do data entry of donors and volunteers on an Excel spreadsheet. Assistance is also needed to set up a mail merge. Call Carol at (320) 759-3003 or email info@kah-alexandria.org.

Knute Nelson needs volunteers in the Coffee Shop and Gift Shop to serve prepared food to customers or price and display merchandise. Volunteers also needed to assist with Wellness Classes from 1:15 to 3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and to transport wheelchair residents to and from class. Call Judy Thielke at (320) 763-1162.

Miracle Horse Riders needs volunteers to sidewalk with riders, lead a horse, groom, clean paddocks and stalls, help with fundraisers and/or grant writing. Call Candy Esterberg at (218) 267-5216.
