Bible conference set at Elim Church

A Bible conference, The Next Awakening, is set for Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at Elim Lutheran Church, 16397 41st Avenue in Osakis.

Tim Tinglestad will be the featured speaker. He graduated from law school, served as an assistant Beltrami County attorney, was in private practice in Bemidji and served as an administrative law judge and a magistrate for the Ninth Judicial District. He believes that the state and nation are at a crossroad and that awakening must begin with the people of God.

His message will focus on biblical and American history, which will restore the foundation upon which the next great awakening will be built.

Following is the schedule: 1 p.m. – Reclaiming our heritage; 2 p.m. – Reviving the church; 3 p.m. – coffee break; 3:30 p.m. – Reforming the state; and 4:30 p.m. – restoring our families.
