The West Central Area girls’ golf team finished seventh at the Heart O’ Lakes Conference meet in Perham last Friday.
Tiffany Boysen shot a 51 to lead the Knights. Marissa Hayward added a 53, while Morgan Grove and Katie Larkin shot 65 and 66, respectively, to round out the WCA scoring.
“The Pines in Perham is known for their trees and we saw them a lot today,” head coach Kari Kreft said. “With a young team, this was an interesting experience. We had some big holes on our cards, but we also saw great scores on individual holes. New varsity players were excited by bogeys on their cards and some nice shots along the way.”
