Welcome home for Alexandria area troops
Alexandria area soliders from the "Red Bull" unit who were serving overseas came home yesterday to a celebration.
Alexandria area soliders from the "Red Bull" unit who were serving overseas came home yesterday to a celebration.
The troops were escorted off Interstate 94 and in through town by the Alexandria Fire Department, Alexandria Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff's Office, North Ambulance and other departments from throughout the county.
People lined Broadway and waved flags, signs and banners.
