Harvey, first performed in 1945, is the tale of a pleasant eccentric and his best friend, an invisible 6-foot, 3 and 1/2-inch tall rabbit. The Pulitzer Prize winning Harvey is a show for the entire family, and an American classic.
The show follows Elwood P. Dowd, who begins to introduce his imaginary friend, Harvey, to guests at a society party. His sister, Veta, has seen about as much of his eccentric behavior as she can tolerate and decides to have him committed so as to spare her family any more embarrassment. However, comedy ensues when Veta herself is mistakingly committed.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children younger than 10. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the AAAA box office by calling (320) 762-8300 or by stopping in Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
