Letter - County appreciates volunteers

To the editor:

I can’t thank all of the wonderful volunteers enough for all they do. They contribute thousands of hours; saving thousands of dollars. Their continued devotion to giving to others is remarkable. This week is set aside for honoring volunteers, but one week is definitely not enough to recognize all they do.

Thanks to all of you who care for others in any way and the many ways you do. You make the world a much better place, and you do it without needing recognition. Your continued good work makes many very happy that you are there for them.

We don’t say it often enough, but please know that we really appreciate all your volunteering. Thank you.
