Card adapted bowling: Alexandria wins two

The Alexandria adapted bowling team continued its perfect season with wins in the PI and CI Divisions against Albany.

The Cardinals swept the PI Division again with Stephen McCabe and Jack Botzet each bowling 400 series. McCabe finished with a 444 and Botzet a 412 to earn wins in both their singles and doubles competitions.

The Cardinals swept their singles head-to-head match-ups with wins from Dylan Timm (407), Jared Greene (400), David Madison (397), Austin GaNun (345) and Matt Froemming (354). Gideon Hartsell also bowled a 395 series as he and Scott Horman tied for a game high with a 147.

Horman had quite a day with a series high 469. Included in that were two turkeys. He joined Tyler Rauscher (413), Patrick Takeda (436) and Derreck Sorenson (406) to pick up a win in the team competition with a 1,724 total.

Alexandria tops

Parkers PRAIRIE

Alexandria’s CI division adapted bowlers got in a little extra competition Tuesday as they faced off against Parkers Prairie, winning that match-up to improve to 6-0 for the season.

Gideon Hartsell and Justin Hanson-Simmons both earned high game honors as Hartsell posted scores of 168 and 122, while Hanson-Simmons had scores of 143 and 138.

Reaching the 400 club were Hanson-Simmons at 429, Tyler Rauscher 421, Jared Greene 422 and Hartsell with 418.

Matt Froemming rolled a turkey (three consecutive strikes) during the contest as well.
