A star is born? Earlier this year the Echo Press was tipped off to a local woman who went to extreme lengths to procure coupons.

Well, she’s back. Lynne Dahlheimer of Alexandria, “The Coupon Lady,” will be instructing a class on how to survive as a coupon enthusiast.

Dahlheimer said since the article “Savvy saver shares tips and tricks” ran in February, she has been stopped in stores by people wondering if she is the coupon lady. She replied “yes” and handed them a business card. People have also asked if they can mail her unused coupons.

Dahlheimer has continued her coupon crusade in the county and hosts a group of coupon enthusiasts on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at 1718 Genes Road Southeast in Alexandria.

Dahlheimer’s class, “Got Coupons?” will be held on Tuesday, May 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Discovery Middle School in the Media Center.

Anyone curious about joining her group or attending the class can call (320) 763-8175 for more information. Coupons can be donated by mailing to 1718 Genes Road Southeast, Alexandria, MN 56308.
