NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING REDISTRICTING

Notice of Public Hearing and intent to consider plans for redistricting of county commissioner districts in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 375.01 to 375.025:

Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of April, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., the Douglas County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the Douglas County Board Room, 305 8th Ave West, in the City of Alexandria, for the purpose of considering preliminary plans for the redistricting of Douglas County Commissioner Districts.

A copy of the preliminary plans with all attachments and supporting documentation shall be available for public inspection in the office of the County Auditor-Treasurer during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Any citizen intending to submit a plan for consideration in the redistricting of Douglas County Commissioner Districts must submit such plan to the Douglas County Auditor-Treasurer no later than April 18, 2012 at 4:30 p.m.

Notice is also given that the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners will meet in the Douglas County Board Room, 305 8th Ave West, in the City of Alexandria on April 25, 2012, for the purpose of redistricting Douglas County Commissioner Districts.
