Alex Figure Skating Club to perform tomorrow and Saturday

The Alexandria Figure Skating Club will put on two performances of “Let the Music Move You” this weekend.

The first will take place tomorrow, Friday, at 7 p.m. with the second show coming Saturday at 1 p.m. Both will be performed at the Runestone Community Center.

The show will include performances from more than 50 club members ranging from age 4 to those in their 70s. The show will include seven group numbers, an opening number featuring a medley performed by the highest leveled skaters and a performance by three generations of skaters.

There will also be solo performances from advanced skaters, including Allison Wood Analea Sheets and Morgan Hess. Misha Harstad and Ramsey Burss will also perform a feature with young skaters in the club.
