Adapted bowling: Cards move to 3-0
The Cardinal adapted bowing team remained perfect on the early season in both the PI and CI Divisions with back-to-back wins over Austin and Albany late last week.
The Cardinal adapted bowing team remained perfect on the early season in both the PI and CI Divisions with back-to-back wins over Austin and Albany late last week.
Stephen McCabe and Jack Botzet won the PI Division by taking the doubles competition with a total score of 830 against Austin. Botzet also won his head-to-head match-up with a 403, while McCabe had a 427 in his match-up with Austin’s Matthew Erath.
Dylan Timm (405), Patrick Takeda (436), Zach Long (414), Scott Horman (435), Kendra Holm (429) and Gideon Hartsell joined them in the 400 club in the CI Division. Takeda, Horman, Derreck Sorenson and Long teamed up to win the team competition with a total score of 1,681.
Alexandria also had five bowlers record turkeys against Austin. Hartsell, Justin Hanson-Simmons, Matt Froemming, Tyler Rauscher and Botzet all accomplished that feat with three straight strikes.
The Cardinals had a similar result in their meet against Albany last Thursday as both the CI and PI Divisions won.
Reaching the 400 club for the meet were Froemming with 444, Austin GaNun with 407, Jared Green with 421, Hanson-Simmons 464, Hartsell 420, Long 420, David Madison 400 and Jared McDonagh 402.
