Shalom to give presentation of ‘Cry of the Whole Congregation’
Shalom Lutheran Church in Alexandria will present Walter Wangerin’s “Cry of the Whole Congregation” at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. worship services on Palm Sunday, April 1.
Shalom Lutheran Church in Alexandria will present Walter Wangerin’s “Cry of the Whole Congregation” at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. worship services on Palm Sunday, April 1.
This dramatic rendering of the story of Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem and subsequent trial and crucifixion features a liturgical dancer (Sonia Hinderlie of Mount Carmel Ministries), a drummer, children and adult choirs, as well as parts for the entire congregation in attendance.
