Engaged - Mayers & Vikander

Jessica Mayers of Melrose and William Vikander of Alexandria announce their engagement.

Jessica is the daughter of Mark and Mary Mayers of Melrose. She is a 2007 graduate of Melrose Area High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities (U of M) with a bachelor’s degree in child psychology. She is a residential supervisor with ACR Homes in Brooklyn Park.

William is the son of Bob and Marcia Vikander of Alexandria. He is a 2006 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria and a 2010 graduate of the U of M with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is a financial aid advisor for Herzing University in Crystal.

A September 15, 2012 wedding is planned at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. A reception will follow at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West.
