Jim was born April 5, 1946 to Roman and Mary (Moriarty) Wagner in Millerville. He was baptized and confirmed in the Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church. He attended school in Brandon.
On April 12, 1969 Jim married Bonnie Roers at the Incarnation Church in Minneapolis. To them three daughters were born: Holly, Tina and Kelly. In 1976, they took over the family farm. They farmed until 1995 when he designed, built and started one of the many joys of his life - The Golf Course. He enjoyed having coffee with the boys, talking about farming and telling jokes. After the busy summers, Jim and Bonnie enjoyed the winters in Arizona.
Jim is survived by his wife, Bonnie Wagner; daughters, Holly Wagner of Las Vegas, Tina (Mark) Hiniker of Texas, Kelly Wagner of Arizona; brother, Richard (Linda) Wagner; brothers-in-law, Mike (Jan) Roers and Alan Roers; mother-in-law, Evelyn G. Roers; nieces, Kristi (Patrick) Smith, Jeanna (Michael) Zunker, Casey (Aaron) Gordon, Jennifer (Tom) Iverson and Gina Roers.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Roman Wagner; father-in-law, Harold P. Roers; and sister-in-law Cheryl Roers.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 29 at the Church of Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Millerville with Father Leroy Scheierl officiating.
Interment was at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery in Millerville.
