Students Chosen for MBDA Honor Band
Matthew Bittmann, an 8th grade baritone saxophone player, and Carly Snell, a 10th grade French horn player, were selected for membership in the Minnesota Band Directors Association (MBDA) state 6-8 and 9-10 grade honor bands. Their directors are Rhonda Blaser, Greg DeGier and Todd Blaser. Snell and Bittmann were two of 74 students selected from 450 who auditioned this winter for a position in the two honor bands.

The students will have the opportunity to work with some of the finest music educators in the state as their section coaches and conductors. All students will rehearse with their conductors on Saturday, April 21 at Fergus Falls High School, and will then perform a concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 in the auditorium of Fergus Falls Senior High School.
