Minnesota author visits Alexandria schools
Minnesota author Jill Kalz visited students at Alexandria public elementary schools as well as Zion’s and St. Mary’s schools this week.

Minnesota author Jill Kalz visited students at Alexandria public elementary schools as well as Zion’s and St. Mary’s schools this week. She spoke to students in Early Childhood Family Education through grade 3 about the books she has written, including Farmer Cap, which has won several awards, and the Tuckerbean series, named after her own dog. She has also written early reader books. She is pictured here speaking to students at Lincoln Elementary School in Alexandria.
