On February 28, Courtney Wosepka, a junior at Jefferson High School in Alexandria, brought her voice, music and prayer chaplets to the Capitol Rotunda in St. Paul.

Wosepka has been participating in a youth and ministry program at St. John’s University in Collegeville. As part of that program, she organized a project to distribute prayer chaplets to encourage people to pray for one another during Lent. She also accepted donations to support the local BirthRight ministry in Alexandria.

The visit to the Capitol was an extension of her project, and Wosepka was able to sing and play piano for more than an hour in the Rotunda. She also interacted with many state leaders, including Lonnie Titus, legislative chaplain, Senate Majority Leader David Senjem, and District 11 State Senator Bill Ingebrigtsen.
