Chippewa River Watershed Project hosting annual meeting on March 29

The Chippewa River Watershed Project (CRWP) is hosting its annual meeting on Thursday, March 29 at the Starbuck Community Center in Starbuck. The evening begins with registration and social gathering at 5 p.m., meal at 6 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.

The Chippewa River Watershed Project (CRWP) is hosting its annual meeting on Thursday, March 29 at the Starbuck Community Center in Starbuck.

The evening begins with registration and social gathering at 5 p.m., meal at 6 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.

During the social gathering, displays will be set up for guests to enjoy. The program will include results from the 2011 monitoring season, highlights of the CRWP Best Management Practices Program and Chippewa River Café Conversations.

Water quality and watershed landscape issues are a complex mixture of economic, recreation and environmental concerns. The CRWP annual meeting will be an opportunity to find actions that can be taken by landowners, recreational users, business owners and government agencies to support a healthy watershed for all.
