Alan Strom of Kensington, a junior at Bemidji State University, is involved in FM90, the university’s student-operated radio station. Strom is gaining experience through management, sales, advertising, and production of one of the Bemidji area’s most popular FM radio stations. Students can become DJs for a semester and produce their own radio shows. KBSB 89.7 FM (FM90) is a non-commercial broadcast station licensed to the University by the Federal Communications Commission.
Strom, a junior majoring in sports management, will be a DJ from 3 to 6 p.m. on Fridays.
