Out and About - PeeWee hockey tournament held here

The Alexandria Area Hockey Association hosted the 2012 PeeWee A state tournament this past weekend. Eight teams with players ages 11-13 advanced out of their region brackets for a chance to compete for a state title at the Runestone Community Center.

The Alexandria Area Hockey Association hosted the 2012 PeeWee A state tournament this past weekend. Eight teams with players ages 11-13 advanced out of their region brackets for a chance to compete for a state title at the Runestone Community Center.

Prior Lake-Savage won the tournament with a 9-4 win over Hermantown in the title game.

Other teams in the tournament were Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake, Lakeville South, St. Michael-Albertville, Eden Prairie, Osseo-Maple Grove and Elk River.
