Police arrest Alexandria man in connection with residential burglaries

An arrest has been made in connection with a string of residential burglaries that occurred in Alexandria recently.

An arrest has been made in connection with a string of residential burglaries that occurred in Alexandria recently.

Earlier today, the Alexandria Police Department arrested Cody Pedersen, 28, of Alexandria and he is expected to face charges for five burglaries that were reported in the North Darling and Scenic Heights area on March 1 and a few days earlier.

According to police, charges will consist of multiple counts of burglary, child endangerment, contributing delinquency of a child and criminal damage to property.

Pedersen is currently in the Douglas County Jail awaiting an initial appearance in Douglas County Court.
