Out & About: All 'fore' fun
Event on Lake Osakis raises money for Osakis Fire Department.
A brisk Saturday morning out on the ice was the perfect setting for a can’t-help-but-laugh event that raises money for Osakis Fire Department. The 8th annual Walleye Lodge Ice Golf Tournament was a great success with nearly 30 teams taking part in a zany game of goofy golf out on Lake Osakis. The frozen “fairways” were plowed for two, 12-hole icy courses. The golf was the main attraction but a variety of events like the “most unique headgear” contest also kept people chuckling through the afternoon.
