Speech team competes at metro tournament
The Alexandria Speech Team competed in a tournament at Bloomington Jefferson in the Twin Cities on Saturday, March 3.

Award winners included:
Creative Expression: Paige Mackadanz – 4th; Mariah Lichty – 6th.
Drama: Mariah Lichty – 5th.
Great Speeches: Caroline Roers – 6th.
Prose: Isabelle Hartakolis – 6th.
Storytelling: Mari Senstad – 10th.
The team will compete in a tournament in Becker on Saturday, March 10 and the postponed Central Lakes Conference tournament has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 13. On Thursday, March 15, many of the team members will perform at the third annual Student Showcase at Discovery Middle School in Alexandria.
