Wedding - Scherrer and Walerius

Melissa Scherrer of Alexandria and Colin Walerius of Glenwood were united in marriage on February 25, 2012 at The Phoenix Event Center in Alexandria.

Parents of the couple are Stan and Renata Scherrer of Alexandria and Jim and Jill Walerius of Glenwood.

The bride was attended by Kari Richardson. The groom was attended by Ryan Walerius.

Brian Harper, Tyler Morrissey, Marcus Amble, Tony Kruger and Nick Gloege served as ushers.

Melissa is a graphic designer at Echo Press in Alexandria, and Colin is an administrative assistant at Douglas Scientific.

A reception was held at the VFW in Alexandria.

The couple resides in Glenwood.
