Out and About - around the county this week - Revving up for Osakis racing

A local Boy Scout troop let the seniors borrow their racetrack.

After lunch on February 15, a group of Osakis seniors revved up their Matchbox car engines for a few rounds of friendly, but spirited, toy car racing. The Osakis Senior Club organized the racing activity to break up the monotony of winter.

A local Boy Scout troop let the seniors borrow their racetrack.

And the winners are… Dennis Sprague took first place and Joyce Engstrand raced into second place. The winners took home complimentary senior meal tickets.
