Speech team finishes fifth in Paynesville
The Alexandria Speech Team competed in a tournament in Paynesville on Saturday, February 18. The team earned 5th place in the large team category.

The team earned 5th place in the large team category. Following were the individual award winners:
Paige Mackadanz earned 4th place in Creative Expression.
Mariah Lichty was 5th in Creative Expression and 5th in Drama.
Ian Heseltine and Kylee Johnson earned 6th place in the Duo category.
Lydia Gusaas was 2nd in Extemporaneous Reading.
Samantha Engstrom was 5th in Humorous.
Haley Wegner earned 6th place in Humorous.
Isabelle Hartakolis earned 6th place in Prose.
Katelyn Tracy earned 1st place in Storytelling.
Mari Senstad earned 8th place in Storytelling.
