• Dr. Kaysie Hendrickson DPT, ATC, MTC of Northwest Rehabilitation in Alexandria recently obtained national Manual Therapy Certification (MTC).

Hendrickson has joined an exclusive group – there are only 15 physical therapists in Minnesota who have active MTC.

With Dr. Hendrickson’s MTC, the Alexandria branch of Northwest Rehabilitation becomes the only physical therapy clinic/department/etc. in Minnesota to employ two actively certified manual therapists. James Olson also has MTC.

Manual therapy techniques (manipulation, mobilization, myofascial release, etc.) use skilled, hands-on, therapist-generated force applied to both joints and soft tissues to normalize joint mechanics. When joint mechanics are normalized, the associated symptoms (pain and inflammation) will resolve or reduce, giving long-term relief.

Northwest Rehabilitation is located at 410 30th Avenue East, Suite 102.
