ANNUAL TOWNSHIP MEETING
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
BOARD OF CANVASS MEETING
PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Miltona Township, Douglas County, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Miltona Fire Hall. In case of inclement weather the meeting and election may be postponed until Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The Annual Election Poll Hours will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at which time the voters will elect:
One Supervisor – 3 year term
One Clerk – 2 year term
The electors will also be voting on a ballot question as follows: Whether to move the town election to November. Shall the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the even-numbered years be designated as the date of the Miltona Township general election?
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. The Annual Board of Canvass will meet after the close of the Annual Meeting to certify the official election results.
A Public Accuracy Test of the voting equipment will be held at 12:15 on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Miltona Community Center.
