Parkers Prairie girls' basketball: Panthers run past Rothsay
The Panthers were still perfect at 23-0 after rolling over another LEC opponent.
The Parkers Prairie girls wrapped up its Little Eight Conference season by putting an exclamation point on its league title with an 80-21 win over Rothsay last Thursday night.
The Panthers (23-0, 12-0 LEC) scored 55 points in the first half to take a 42-point lead into the break. Madison Dorn was the catalyst with 26 points, including 24 in the opening half. Micaela Noga added 17 points, Tamara Schmidt 11 and Kaylee Dorn and Ally Taylor each had 10.
The Panthers had three more games, all against teams with winning records, left on their schedule after the win. They were at Sebeka (19-4) last night, Tuesday, before traveling to Hancock (18-3) on Thursday night. Parkers Prairie will wrap up the regular season by welcoming in Upsala (20-1) next Monday.
