Alexandria Marching Band 2012 Drum Majors selected
Auditions for the Alexandria Marching Band Drum Majors were held in early February.
Auditions for the Alexandria Marching Band Drum Majors were held in early February.
The students selected as the 2012 Drum Majors include
Meghan Hartokolis, Serena Stoeck and Erin Ann Schueler.
Candidates were auditioned in several areas including a questionnaire, marching and directing, and a Jefferson High School faculty evaluation.
The band will tour the state this summer marching in the following parades:
• Owatonna and Buffalo on June 16;
• Milaca on June 21;
• St. Cloud on June 23;
• Alexandria’s Vikingland Band Festival on June 24;
• Roseville on June 25;
• Apple Valley and St. Joe on July 4.
The band will end the season with a return trip to ValleyFair.
