The Board of Commissioners in and for the County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, met in Regular Session this 27th day of December, 2011. Following is a summary of actions taken at that meeting. The full text is available for public inspection in the County Auditor/Treasurer’s office.
The Board of Commissioners in and for the County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, met in Regular Session this 24th day of January, 2012. Following is a summary of actions taken at that meeting. The full text is available for public inspection in the County Auditor/Treasurer’s office.
To approve the agenda with changes. Motion carried.
To approve minutes of the January 3rd, 2012 Organizational meeting and the January 10th, 2012 Regular meeting as presented. Motion carried.
To approve the out-of-state travel request for a Sheriff’s office employee. Motion carried.
To approve the joint powers agreement with the State of Minnesota for eCharging that covers the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office installation. Motion carried.
To approve the Sheriff’s request to hire two part time correctional officers instead of the one full time officer that was approved in the 2012 budget. Motion carried.
To authorize Mr. Lieffort going to closing on the Lee property. Motion carried.
To approve Mr. Robley’s request for out-of-state travel for the NACE conference and the Washington DC Fly-In. Motion carried.
To approve an easement for the City of Alexandria (Fillmore Street) as presented by Dave Robley. Motion carried.
To approve paying 2012 MRCC (Minnesota Rural Counties Caucus) dues in the amount of $2,100. Motion carried.
To accept the low bid from A & E Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in the amount of $239,720 for Courthouse chiller replacement. Motion carried.
To approve the service contract with Elert and Associates for the design and installation of the County’s dispatch center. Motion carried.
