Women's choir formed for 'heroes' performance
A local women’s choir is being formed to learn and rehearse three songs for the Central Square Concert Series performance of Heroes, created by Ann Reed.
A local women’s choir is being formed to learn and rehearse three songs for the Central Square Concert Series performance of Heroes, created by Ann Reed.
The performance will be held Friday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. The choir will be under the direction of Helen Johnsrud.
Area women and girls interested in singing in this one-time performance are welcome. Rehearsals will be held at Central Square in Glenwood on Thursday evenings. The next rehearsal is February 23 at 7 p.m. The choir will be accompanied by Twin Cities musicians. The program celebrates women’s history.
