Elbow Lake troupe presents three radio shows

Get swept into the mystery of who stole the Kensington Runestone and why in Runaway Rune.   A class of radio theater students from the University of Minnesota, Morris wrote, produced and starred in the show.

Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:

ON STAGE

A troupe of actors from the Elbow Lake area will be on stage Friday, February 17 at 7 p.m. to present three shows from the old-time radio series Fleischmann’s Yeast Hour.

Directed by Betsy Ostenson, The Church Mouse stars Samantha Olson and Jim Johnson; Help Wanted stars Samantha Olson, Randy Johnson, Michelle Toso and Jim Johnson; Miss Tithinwither at the Prize Fight stars Betsy Ostenson. 

Arlyn Swenson provides the music with Curt Ostenson doing the sound effects.

Tune in Sunday, February 19 at 12:30 p.m. on KXRA 1490 AM as LAT presents Runaway Rune.
