Edgewood Vista crowns 2012 Valentine royalty
Edgewood Vista in Alexandria held a special Valentine’s Day celebration for its residents Tuesday.

Edgewood Vista in Alexandria held a special Valentine’s Day celebration for its residents Tuesday. Along with harp music and Valentine treats, the residents voted for a king and queen. This year’s king is 79-year-old Harold Engebretson and the queen is Carmen Parmeter, 91.
Edgewood Vista holds a Valentine coronation event every year, and some years the royalty takes part in the fall Homecoming Parade held on Broadway in Alexandria.
