Ashby Living Center opening soon

The new Ashby Living Center, 112 Iverson Street in Ashby, is preparing to open its doors to the Ashby community and surrounding area. Building inspections and installations are now under way. New management experienced in assisted living, memory care and adult day services, together with a dedicated local team will be taking the facilities forward.

The new Ashby Living Center, 112 Iverson Street in Ashby, is preparing to open its doors to the Ashby community and surrounding area. Building inspections and installations are now under way.

New management experienced in assisted living, memory care and adult day services, together with a dedicated local team will be taking the facilities forward. The center will provide home-style residential facilities featuring 24 single and double bedroom suites with a private handicap accessible bathroom and sitting room with kitchenette, and large windows.

Services will include 24 hour staff, nurse health monitoring, medication administration, assistance with daily personal cares, advanced custom care, home cooked meals and baking, therapeutic exercise, social activities, hobbies and music.

Memory care services and adult day services will also be available. Residents and families will enjoy the spacious foyer to relax in, socialize and enjoy entertainment. A full service kitchen is designed to serve both residents and the public for gatherings and social functions.

Home cooked meals are prepared three times a day every day, with home baked goodies and fresh coffee always on hand. The activity room is planned for residents to pursue hobbies and interests such as weaving, painting, puzzles, knitting, crocheting, reading, writing and much more.
