The Minnesota Department of Revenue wants to make it easier for Minnesotans to file and pay their taxes. To do that, the department is overhauling its website. “An updated, easy-to-navigate website is one way we are enhancing customer service and improving how state government works,” Revenue Commissioner Myron Frans said.
The final version of the new website debuts in May. It will feature updated information, improved search options and a fresh look and feel. Taxpayer feedback, as well as surveys, studies and test runs by real users were instrumental in upgrading the website and will be ongoing until the final site launches in May.
The BETA site will stay up for public evaluation through April, and the department will roll out improvements throughout that time. There will be periodic updates, and the site might be down for short periods. Scheduled updates are posted at http://beta.revenue.state.mn.us. The site is best viewed by supported browsers and may not work on all mobile devices at this time. View the system requirements page
