Voyager students raise $4,585.77 for charity
Voyager Elementary School in Alexandria recently collected $4,585.77 for Pennies for Patients, a program that benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Voyager Elementary School in Alexandria recently collected $4,585.77 for Pennies for Patients, a program that benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
During the first week of February, students and staff collected pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
Brittin Boike’s 1st grade class earned a pizza party for being the class that collected the most money.
The entire school celebrated their efforts during an all school assembly where some teachers competed in a “Dance Off.”
