Speech team competes in Moorhead
The mostly novice team came up against some powerful teams from across the state, including Duluth, Lakeville, Eden Prairie and St. Cloud Tech, among others.
The Alexandria Speech Team competed at the Spuds Speech Tournament in Moorhead on Saturday, February 11.
The mostly novice team came up against some powerful teams from across the state, including Duluth, Lakeville, Eden Prairie and St. Cloud Tech, among others.
Award winners from the Alexandria team included Colin Robertson, 6th place in the finals for Discussion, and Lydia Gusaas, 4th place in the honors finals for Extemporaneous Reading.
The team finished in 12th place.
