Alexandria had to forfeit one more match than St. Cloud Tech in Thursday night’s dual against the Tigers as the Cardinals fell 47-27.

Trent Piepenburg, No. 7 in Class AAA, earned a pin over Tyler Doering in 36 seconds and Justin Cumberbatch, No. 8 in Class AAA, also picked up a pin in 39 seconds.

The Cardinals also got wins from Joe Brown at 120 with a forfeit, Tony Hubbard at 152 pounds with a decision and Gage Sonczalla at 160 pounds with a forfeit.
