Crash near Alexandria closes portion of Interstate 94
The westbound lanes of Interstate 94 at Highway 114 near Alexandria are closed due to a crash this afternoon.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 94 at Highway 114 near Alexandria are closed due to a crash that happened at about 1:30 p.m. today.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
The westbound lanes will remain closed until further notice.
The rear-end crash involved three vehicles, including a truck that was reportedly transporting hydrochloric acid. Because the acid was leaking from the truck, haz-mat crews were called to the scene.
At least three people were transported to the hospital. The injuries are not believed to be serious.
