Wedding - Albrecht and Ballinger

Kara Ann Albrecht of Wichita, Kansas and Justin Robert Ballinger of Shoreview were united in marriage on September 24, 2011 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wichita. Father Patrick Reilley performed the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at the Petroleum Club in Wichita.

Kara is the daughter of Rick and Kathy Albrecht of Wichita. She is a 2002 graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Wichita, an alumnus of the University of Kansas and a registered nurse at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Justin is the son of Jim and Kathy Ballinger of Alexandria. He is a 2002 graduate of Mounds View High School in Arden Hills, an alumnus of the University of Kansas and a senior consultant at The Medicus Firm in Dallas, Texas.

Angela Metzger, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Emily Johnsrud, cousin of the bride; Ashley Ballinger, sister of the groom; Tracy Gabel, Annie Sadler, Wensdy Stucky and Ginger Perry, friends of the bride. The flower girls were Claire Heiman, Katie Heiman and McKenzie Metzger, nieces of the bride.

Josh Stucky, friend of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were Nathan Maehren, cousin of the groom; Christopher Albrecht and Michael Albrecht, brothers of the bride; Jerrod Commerford, Bjorn Nesvold and Jeret Crook, friends of the groom.

The couple makes their home in Dallas.
