Kevin Kopischke was recently named the newest community-at-large member for the Douglas County Hospital Board.
• Fashion Bug of Alexandria is having its semi-annual Bra Fit Event on Saturday, February 11. During the day they will also have a Panty Drive for Somplace Safe. Many victims enter these shelters with only the clothing they are wearing. Often, used clothing is provided, but lingerie is often not available. Stop in Saturday for a free bra fit and donate new panties to the shelter. Fashion Bug is a women's retail store located next to Slumberland.
• Kevin Kopischke was recently named the newest community-at-large member for the Douglas County Hospital Board.
Kopischke has been president of Alexandria Technical and Community College since 2004.
His community involvement includes: chair of the Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission, board member of the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum, past chair of the West Central Initiative Fund and past chair of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) Leadership Council.
Kopischke is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a doctorate in educational policy and administration. He and his wife, Donna, have three grown children and reside in Alexandria.
