Lions elect Timmins as first vice district governor

The 5M4 Lions had its mid-winter convention at the Holiday Inn Alexandria on January 27-29.

Miltona Lion Skipp Timmins was elected first vice district governor. Timmins joined Miltona Lions in 2001 and has been secretary, president and chairman of many committees. He also was secretary-treasurer of 5M4 for three years. Under his presidency, women were allowed in the club. He said he is looking forward to his mid-winter in Alexandria in 2014 and the international convention in Hamburg, Germany.

His wife, Jerri, joined the Lions in 2005 when he was president and has been treasurer the past six years. Together, they co-chair Leader Dog as well as serve on several committees.

Clem and Cheryl Suchy also attended the 5M4 Mid-Winter Convention.
