Alex speech team competes in Albany
The Alexandria Speech Team competed in its second meet of the season in a tournament in Albany on Saturday, February 4.
The Alexandria Speech Team competed in its second meet of the season in a tournament in Albany on Saturday, February 4.
The team finished in 7th place in the large team category. Individual award winners included: A.C. Konefal-Cholewa – 4th place ribbon in extemporaneous speaking; Haley Wegner – honorable mention for humorous; Isabelle Hartakolis –1st place medal in prose.
Other participants included Samantha Anderson, DeeDee Bennett, Brenna Fike, Sylina Hertel, Ian Heseltine, Kylee Johnson, Paige Mackadanz, Sierra Peters, McKayla Petrie, Mari Senstad and Jack Schouweiler.
The team will compete in Moorhead this weekend.
