Alex swimming and diving: Otters outduel Cardinals

Alexandria picks up two wins in the CLC meet.

    Photo by Eric Morken: Alexandria's Elliot Jacobson finished fourth in the diving competition during Thursday night's dual swimming and diving meet with Fergus Falls.

Alexandria was able to pick up just two wins against Fergus Falls in the pool Thursday night, and the Cardinals fell to the Otters 100-86.

Kris Aaseng won the 200 free in 1:52.52, and Zac Bartolomeo corralled first in the 100 back in 1:00.81 as Alexandria put together seven season bests for the night.

Mark Kallevig was responsible for two of those seven, and Kyle Blank put in the best performance, dropping two seconds in the 100 breaststroke.

Alexandria will now be at the Central Lakes Conference championships tomorrow, Thursday in Sartell.
