UPDATED TUESDAY A.M.: Fire on Alexandria's Kenwood Street
The Echo Press has learned more information about Monday's fire at a duplex on Kenwood Street in Alexandria.

The Echo Press has learned more information about Monday's fire at a duplex on Kenwood Street in Alexandria.
The house at 823 Kenwood Street is owned by Dean Roering, who was out of town at the time of the fire. A renter in the duplex smelled smoke, saw flames, quickly got out and called 911.
The structure was a complete loss. Damage was estimated at between $95,000 and $100,000.
The blaze is believed to have started in the kitchen.
No injuries were reported.
Forada firefighters assisted at the scene.
One fire truck was called back to the house this morning to take care of a a small flare-up.
