Meeting in Parkers Prairie to talk about wolves

A town hall meeting about wolves will take place at the Parkers Prairie Event Center on Wednesday, February 8 at 7 p.m.

It's being presented by Prairie to Woods Whitetails, a deer management association in Parkers Prairie.

Everyone is welcome to attend and hear about the impact wolves are having on big game and domestic livestock as well as new Minnesota rules about the hunting and trapping season for wolves.

The guest speaker will be John Hart, a wolf specialist with the United States Department of Agriculture. Senator Bill Ingebrigtsen, R-Alexandria, who is the chair of the Senate Environment and Natural Resources Committee, is also scheduled to appear and make a statement.
