Engaged - Martin and Hasanov

Kristina Martin and Vusal Hasanov, both of Baku, Azerbaijan, announce their engagement.

Kristina is the daughter of Ralph and Connie Martin of Alexandria. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria in 2000. She attained a bachelor’s degree in English literature and writing from Northwestern College in St. Paul in 2004. She is employed as a project manager with Operation Mercy in Baku.

Vusal is the son of Fuzuli and Gulnara Hasanov of Baku. He graduated from Namiq Babayev High School in Baku in 1999. He attained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tefekkur University in Baku in 2003. He is employed as an English teacher at the International Learning Center in Baku.

A June 3, 2012 wedding is planned at Alexandria Covenant Church with a reception at Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood.
